Many of us suspect that the criminal justice system in the U.S. is disfunctional. But when an innocent young mother, whom many of us know and love, is threatened with prison on bogus charges it brings out the Tiger Mother–and Father! How could it be so difficult for an innocent person to establish innocence in the U.S. of A. ? Eva’s family has spent $30,000 battling a bewildering Kafka-esque system of “justice.” She has courageously refused to accept a plea bargain because, she says simply, “I haven’t  done anything wrong.
